A turbocharged 228-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine comes standard with all but the RS trim, which has a standard 308-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine that’s an available option for most of the other trims. Auto Start/Stop technology is integrated into both engines to conserve fuel, and the smaller engine gets an estimated 29 MPG in highway mileage, while the V6 offers up to 26 MPG.
Two AWD systems are available: a capable one that traverses through rugged terrains with ease, and a more advanced twin-clutch system that can deliver torque independently to either of the rear wheels. The 9-speed automatic transmission that pairs to both engines provides seamlessly smooth shifts, while the fully independent suspension system lends the vehicle exceptional handling.
